Ms Duffy's class and Ms Judge's class have been learning to code this year! They were first introduced to coding during the Hour of Code which they loved. The reviews were fantastic so it became a weekly lesson!
We watched a video about coding, computer science, programming, what coding is, what it is used for and why it is important. We heard Bill Gates-the creator of Microsoft, Mark Zuckerburg-the creator of Facebook, the designer of Minecraft and many others discuss their first experiences with coding. Then we began our first coding lesson where we coded a Minecraft game!
