Fáilte go Naíonáin Shínsearacha.

On our nature walk we looked for all the changes around the school during autumn. We saw the red, yellow and brown leaves. We collected some for the 'Investigation Table' in our classroom and we made bark and leaf rubbings. We can now name the different trees by looking at their leaves-Sycamore, Ash, Horse Chestnut, and Oak. Have a look at some pictures of our walk and the work we have done with the leaves.
We examined our senses in Science and had lots of fun. We took turns at the different stations- Smell, Hearing, Sight, Taste and Touch. Here are some photos of us smelling the garlic, vanilla, lemon and orange lolly pop sticks, listening to the cow, motorbike, pig and drill, tasting the jelly beans to guess the flavour, making jigsaws, matching pictures and guessing the object in the box using our hands.
