In the warm summer sunshine of Mc Hale Park Crossmolina Boys took on the might of Myna. They played some beautiful football passing and defending with skill. By half time the score was as in above photos 4-07 to Crossmolina and 1-03 to Myna. However, Myna came out fighting and Crossmolina had to defend their territory with Myna scoring another goal by the end of the match. It was a comprehensive win for the boys with 5-9 to 2-3. A fantastic achievement for players, trainers, parents, supporters and the school community. Well done to all and the spirit with which they played and the graciousness with which they received their trophy which a rousing speech from Nathan Lynch.

Well done to Miss Duffy and her class on taking such good care of the butterflies and also teaching us all first hand all about the life cycle of the butterfly!
